Samsung is not going to release Android 4.0 Upgrades for Galaxy S & Tab

Samsung may drop its idea of not bringing Android 4 upgrades to the Galaxy S and Tab due to huge customers’ demand.
The Earlier Decision
Just recently, Samsung announced the list of gadgets that are going to have Android 4 and from that list; two popular devices namely Galaxy S and Galaxy Tab were not there in the list. Behind this, Samsung gave the clarification that both the gadgets don’t carry enough ROM as well as RAM storage for the new operating system and the Samsung’s custom TouchWiz user interface both.

In contrast, Samsung Nexus S will be receiving Android 4 upgrade as the device does not have the support for neither TouchWiz interface nor other services like video calling and other widgets.

Rumor
A famous Korean news website ajnews reported that Samsung is reviewing if the Galaxy S and Tab may support Android ICS. To this, Google and Samsung both have not responded. So, the customers having these two gadgets may receive ICS upgrades but it is not confirm news.

Samsung has not announced its decision officially as there is no final saying by Samsung on this. Stay tuned for more updates!
