Canon EOS 100D - The world’s smallest and lightest DSLR

Behold! This is the world’s smallest and lightest DSLR, measuring just 117x91x69mm and weighing in at 407g. Despite that, the EOS 100D has the same 18-megapixel CMOS sensor and most of the same manual controls as the semi-professional, comparatively obese EOS 600D. Naturally, it also shoots full-HD video. The 100-12800 ISO range helps make light work of shooting in murky conditions, while Canon has jazzed up the autofocus with the “Hybrid CMOS AF II” system offering 80 per cent frame coverage. An enhanced creative mode throws on even more photographic training wheels, as well as some Instagram-esque filter effects.

Price: £699 | Canon
