SanDisk packed 128GB into a USB 3.0 drive the size of a dime

Do you need a USB 3.0 drive the size of your thumbnail or a pocketable SSD? Doubtful, but you’re probably going to like SanDisk’s new drives just the same.

The Ultra Fit USB 3.0 is about the size of the input found on any USB cable. SanDisk also managed to pack a surprising 128GB memory into the $120 Ultra Fit, all while delivering USB 3.0 transfer speeds.
If tiny isn’t your thing, SanDisk is also unveiling the “World’s highest-performing portable SSD.” The Extreme 900 is billed as the fastest USB Type-C SSD on the market, delivering transfer speeds up to nine times as fast as other portable hard drives. The Extreme 500 is up to four times faster, says SanDisk.

The Extreme 500 is available in storage capacities up to 480GB, and tops out at $239.99. SanDisk’s Extreme 900 SSD can be found with up to 1.9TB for a price of $999.99.
