New dual-SIM Smartphones by Samsung

Earlier this Thursday, Samsung unveiled two new smartphones for those who always wanted to have dual-SIM phones, the Galaxy Y Duos and the Galaxy Y Pro Duos gadgets.

Good for both Purposes

Both the smartphones offer great benefits for those who want to use one account for personal matters and second one for business purposes. Also, those who wish to share a single phone in emerging markets. Talking about the technical specifications, the Galaxy Y Duos is powered by a processor clocked at 832MHz and runs Android 2.3(Gingerbread). It has a 2.6-inch display and has a 3-megapixel camera. Both the phones will hit the Russian markets first and will then be released in Europe, Southeast, Southwest Asia, Latin America, CIS, the Middle East, Africa as well as China.

Applications Available

Galaxy Y Pro Duos has got tools like Polaris and Find My Mobile. While Polaris offers easy viewing as well as editing of Office documents, you can work with Excel, Word, Powerpoint and even PDF files while on-the-move. On the other hand, Find My Mobile lets you lock your phone anytime and it can remotely be traced and also, its contents can be erased in case of loss.
