When
it comes to smartphones with high end specifications, you can of course
depend on the usual names such as LG, Samsung, Motorola, HTC and Nokia
to churn out their respective flagship devices, but those tend to be
accompanied by some pretty hefty price tags to boot. Well, China, deem
as the “world’s supermarket” in the eyes of certain quarters, has been
known to churn out high end products, although the name of the company
behind it might not be that famous as their more illustrious
counterparts. Case in point, the Xiaomi Mi-3, which has yet to be made
official, although the China-based company is most probably waiting for
Google I/O 2013 before making it official.It is said that the Xiaomi Mi-3 will come with a 5″ 1080p screen alongside a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset, where its Krait 400 cores will be clocked at 2.3GHz each, now how about that? Other than that, expect to see a 13-megapixel camera thrown into the mix, accompanied by a generous 3,000mAh battery. Initial whispers of the price point put it at $310 after conversion, which would make it virtually worth every single penny you drop for the hardware involved. Too bad we will most probably not see it arrive in the US anytime soon.
