LG G Pro 2 now available in Asia

The often leaked LG G Pro 2 was finally unveiled last month before the Mobile World Congress opened in Barcelona. We also mentioned it might land in the US this April but we’re more sure now that it’s already available in Asia.

The new Android smartphone will be arriving in Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Singapore anytime the next few days. To review, the LG G Pro 2 boasts of a 13 megapixel camera with OIS+technology, 5.9-inch screen size with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, 16GB or 32GB storage capacity, 720p video capture in 120 frames per second, Magig Focus, and ultra HD video recording capability.

Making the LG G Pro 2 more interesting is the Knock Code. The Knock Code feature allows the user to simply knock or do a series of knocks or tapping patterns to unlock the Android KitKat running smartphone. It’s the most anticipated feature on the new LG phone according to a survey in South Korea.

Just like the LG G2, the LG G Pro 2 will have a super thin bezel. It can support 4K video so you know this smartphone is really powerful. Other specs include a quad-core 2.26GHz Snapdragon 800 CPU, 3GB RAM, and Adreno 330 GPU graphics.
