Android devices will have Mozilla Firefox 9

Just after a few days after we became acquainted with the PC version, Firefox 9 enters the world of tablets and smartphones based on Android.
The new version of Firefox brings important changes in version of the tablet user interface, moving tabs to the left of the screen window to be displayed as thumbnails, while the full version of the active page is shown in a maximized using the remaining space. When you rotate the tablet in portrait mode, the list of tabs is moved to a menu visible in the left corner of the screen. The menu is hidden when not in use, saving valuable space to display the current page.

The “Action Bar” provides access to configuration options, add-in component, download list, collection of bookmarks, the buttons back/forward and other facilities. Also, now you can save bookmarks for visited pages directly in your Android Home Screen using quick gestures.

Under the hood, Firefox 9 enjoys extensive support for HTML 5 technologies so that we can carry out various activities using the camera from the Android devices. For example, we can take pictures that you can load directly in your social network profile, scan bar codes to obtain information about various products and services.
