Curious.com is based on the mantra “lifelong learning.” Learning for its own sake. Learning that happens beyond classrooms and not only in academic subjects, and learning as a necessity of living. And Curious.com also believes great teachers are as valuable to society as great business leaders or academic thinkers.
This site aims to provide an uncommonly inviting place to teach and be taught. Instructors can upload video on any subject — be it salsa dancing or making glogg. Unlike YouTube, Curious lets teachers choose to charge for lessons, features an oversize playback window and generally feels friendly and constructive. The site’s proprietors currently approve teachers and eyeball content to ensure that these online classes are, well, classy.
