New Motorola Moto X launched in India, prices start at Rs 31,999


Motorola unveiled the new Moto X in India earlier this month, but didn’t reveal the price saying it would be announced on the day of launch. Today, the company has launched the flagship device in India with prices starting at Rs 31,999. The wooden and leather back variants will cost Rs 33,999 and they will go on sale on Flipkart at midnight.
As far as specifications are concerned, the new Moto X flaunts a 5.2-inch full HD AMOLED 1080p display with a pixel density of 423ppi, and is powered by a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. Also included is 16GB internal storage, but no micr0SD card slot to expand the memory.
The flagship smartphone also features a 13-megapixel rear camera with flash, and 4K video recording capabilities, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, front-facing stereo speakers, and a 2,300mAh battery. On the software front, the smartphone runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
In comparison, the original Moto X featured a 4.7-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16/32GB internal storage. Also included is a 10-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, 2,200mAh battery, and on the software front, it runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
