Any guesses, how much this new X2 model from UMI with 16GB storage
will cost? If you’ll see the price of the current 32GB quad core version
of UMI X2, it’s priced at Rs. 14,000/-. So obviously the upcoming 16GB
version will affordable than this one. But its specifications will
decide its price. But it is still not confirm that whether its
specifications are trimmed down or will be as it in the 32GB X2. Well,
we should recall the specifications of 32GB UMI X2.
The 32GB UMI X2 is said as one of the tough competitor of the
currently available, the so popular Micromax Canvas HD. It has the same
5-inch display with full HD screen resolution. It’s powered by a MTK6589
quad-core processor from MediaTek that clocked at 1.2 GHz and coupled
with a PowerVR SGX544 GPU. It’s a dual-SIM supported smartphone running
on the latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS that’s scheduled to be
upgradable to 4.2 latter. It comes built with an impressive 2 GB of RAM
and packs a 2,500mAh battery pack. Moreover you’ll find a great 13MP
shooter at rear along with a 3MP at front.
This smartphone intially was said it will be launch sometimes in March 15-20 in India but was in recent news it was said to be launch only in mid April. That
means need to wait for a month to grab this quad core smartphone, which is
priced at Rs. 14,000/-. Pre-booking for the phone is on and instead of
paying the full amount, you can now confirm the order by just paying Rs.
500/-. If you want to make a pre-order then you can find UMI’s bank
accounts in India on their official website, wherein you can make the
transfer and you have to pay the balance before the delivery is made.
They are saying; they have limited stocks in their hand i.e. 6500 Pcs
for X1 and 18000 Pcs for X2. But it’ll be better to have patience,
though the product will go out of stock soon (as per consumer demands).
