Very recently the Z10 was launched by BlackBerry and its running on
the latest OS (Blackberry 10). After the worldwide launch the phone has
received very positive feedbacks and has been termed as unique. But this
can be said only for the operating system because the hardware turns
out to be a regular and in some comparisons it is even outmatched by
some other smartphones in the market. Still it’s said that its hardware
has got some remarkable features to survive.
So, what has the Z10 got? It runs on a dual core processor with a
clock speed of 1.5GHz, a large display of 4.2 inches and a resolution of
1280×768. It has got 2 GB ram and comes with an internal memory of
16GB.It has two cameras. The front being of 2MP and the rear of 8MP.It
also has memory expansion slot, an 1800mAh battery and NFC built into
it.
Now let us take into consideration 4 other top smartphones available currently. They are the Samsung Galaxy SIII, the Nokia Lumia 920, the Apple iPhone 5 and the HTC Butterfly.
Coming to the display part. Apart from the Z10, the Galaxy SIII
and the Lumia 920 have 720P displays. Even the iPhone tags along
closely with a 4-inch screen with a resolution of 1136×640 and 326PPI.
What stands out, if the new HTC Butterfly with a 5inch display and 1080P
display. This phone can actually make the Z10 look smaller.
Processor wise also , the Z10 ,the S III and the Lumia stand on the
same grass with the three of them having dual core processors. The
Galaxy SIII in India has quad core processor but in the US it comes with
a dual core processor. The iPhone 5
runs on the A6 processor which is also a dual core processor and the
HTC Butterfly runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Quad core processor.
When it comes to camera, the Lumia 920 is ahead of the rest with a
Carl Zeiss lens and pureview technology and 8.7 megapixels. The rest

Keeping the hardware aside the blackberry stands out with the launch
of its new OS, which claims it stand step ahead of any other OS running
in the market. This is something that can help Blackberry to retain its
customers. Though the absence of Google services might be a downside but
the trusted brand can rely on the customer’s loyalty, isn’t it? Anyways
