Blackberry Z10 vs. rest of the best!

Very recently the Z10 was launched by BlackBerry and its running on the latest OS (Blackberry 10). After the worldwide launch the phone has received very positive feedbacks and has been termed as unique. But this can be said only for the operating system because the hardware turns out to be a regular and in some comparisons it is even outmatched by some other smartphones in the market. Still it’s said that its hardware has got some remarkable features to survive.

So, what has the Z10 got? It runs on a dual core processor with a clock speed of 1.5GHz, a large display of 4.2 inches and a resolution of 1280×768. It has got 2 GB ram and comes with an internal memory of 16GB.It has two cameras. The front being of 2MP and the rear of 8MP.It also has memory expansion slot, an 1800mAh battery and NFC built into it.

Now let us take into consideration 4 other top smartphones available currently. They are the Samsung Galaxy SIII, the Nokia Lumia 920, the Apple iPhone 5 and the HTC Butterfly.

Coming to the display part. Apart from the Z10, the Galaxy SIII and the Lumia 920 have 720P displays. Even the iPhone tags along closely with a 4-inch screen with a resolution of 1136×640 and 326PPI. What stands out, if the new HTC Butterfly with a 5inch display and 1080P display. This phone can actually make the Z10 look smaller.

Processor wise also , the Z10 ,the S III and the Lumia stand on the same grass with the three of them having dual core processors. The Galaxy SIII in India has quad core processor but in the US it comes with a dual core processor. The iPhone 5 runs on the A6 processor which is also a dual core processor and the HTC Butterfly runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Quad core processor.

When it comes to camera, the Lumia 920 is ahead of the rest with a Carl Zeiss lens and pureview technology and 8.7 megapixels. The rest have 8 megapixels in them.

The Z10 and HTC Butterfly both have 2 GB of RAM while the rest have 1 GB of RAM. Storage wise also the Z10 and the Butterfly both come with 16GB of internal memory with expansion slots. The Lumia comes with 32GB and the rest come with 3 variants each.

Keeping the hardware aside the blackberry stands out with the launch of its new OS, which claims it stand step ahead of any other OS running in the market. This is something that can help Blackberry to retain its customers. Though the absence of Google services might be a downside but the trusted brand can rely on the customer’s loyalty, isn’t it?
