Is Google Planning To Separate Photos From Google+?

The search engine giant, Google is planning on detaching its Google+ photos from its social media form to attract more users towards the platform for photos. The main aim is to make service more independent and accessible to the users even if they have no account or a profile on the Google+, reports the Times of India.

Apparently, the Google + would no longer be a social media site but would be a platform and this decision reaches after three months following the resignation of Vic Gundotra, who was the head of the Google+ and the company is planning on changing the techniques on the Google+.

However, the reports according to the Bloomberg on the Times of India suggest that the photo platform will still work for Google but requires no Google+ account for the services to be used. The changes made on the Google+ would be unanticipated as it clearly has not been as successful as its competitors on social media.
