OnePlus may have just made the OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro available for users, but renders of the supossed OnePlus 8 and the OnePus 8 Pro have already been doing the internet rounds for a while now. Thought that was too much? Well, several tipster now claim to know roughly when can we expect to see the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro as well.
Latest information suggests that both the OnePlus 8 and the OnePlus 8 Pro might see a Q2 2020 unveiling. The details here come from tipster Max J., who has been on-point about previous rumors in the past concerning different phone manufacturers such as Sony and Samsung.
He now states in a tweet that both the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro will launch during the second quarter of next year. While that’s not much to go on, we believe that the company will attempt to maintain the same launch timeline as it did with its OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro unveiling earlier this year.
Both the OnePlus 7 and the OnePus 7 Pro were unveiled in May this year, meaning that a OnePlus 8 launch could well happen during the same period next year. As far as design of both upcoming phones are concerned, renders of both phones suggest that OnePlus will be replacing the pop-up selfie camera on the 'Pro' model with a hole-punch camera solution.
Both phones are also expected to feature 5G support next year and arrive with a price tag lower than their current prices. Qi wireless charging support could also be an add-on considering how long overdue the feature's been on OnePlus phones.
Apart from that a 90Hz refresh rate display should be present on both models, along with both handsets being powered by a Snapdragon 865 system-on-chip.
